Meet The Team – Jo Parsons

In this edition of our “Meet the Team” blog, we’re excited to introduce Jo Parsons, a dedicated Project Coordinator here at Spaciotempo. With a rich background in banking and industrial operations, she brings a wealth of experience to the team, balancing precision with a strong customer focus. Her journey has been marked by adaptability and a drive to deliver results, and we’re thrilled to have her on board.
"Remember to be organised - It's a great feeling knowing you have done a good job and delivered what the customer expects. Enjoy your work! That advice has stuck with me and has helped me make choices that align with my personal goals and satisfaction."
Jo Parsons,
Background & Job Role
What led you to join Spaciotempo?
I began my career in banking but decided to make a switch when high-street branches started closing. From there, I moved into an operational role with an industrial abseiling company as an Operations Manager. I was ready to take a step back from management responsibilities, and that’s when I found Spaciotempo—a role where I could focus more on project coordination without the high-level managerial stress.
How long have you been with Spaciotempo, and what was your first impression of the team?
I’ll have been with Spaciotempo for two years in March, and from the start, the team struck me as incredibly welcoming and supportive. It’s a friendly environment, and that warmth makes a difference when you’re settling into a new role.
What’s your role, and what does a typical day look like?
I recently transitioned from being an Operations Coordinator to a Project Coordinator, so I’m still learning the ropes of my new role. Essentially, I’m the main point of contact for customers after the Area Sales Manager (ASM) has set up the sale or hire agreement. My responsibilities include managing documentation, sending invoices, coordinating building services, and ensuring the smooth running of project timelines. I also help organise aftersales repairs and log enquiries to pass on to ASMs.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Working with customers directly and collaborating with my teammate, Sally-Anne, who’s also a Project Coordinator, are definitely highlights for me. It’s a pleasure to be part of a team that values each other’s contributions.
Work Enviroment & Team Dynamics
What’s your favourite thing about working at Spaciotempo?
Working as a team and dealing with a variety of customers.
How do you collaborate with other departments?
We work closely with both the Operations team and the Area Sales Managers. The coordination across departments is key to delivering a seamless experience for our customers.
Projects & Clients
What sets Spaciotempo apart from its competitors?
I think we are very organised as a company, we keep out customers informed with every step. We have had comments back from our customers noting that they wish all suppliers communicated as well as we do.
Personal Insight
What motivates you?
I’ve always want to be proud of what I do and feel like I have done a good job in the clients eyes.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love walking my dogs and enjoy swimming, whether it’s in a pool or wild swimming out in nature. Being outdoors and staying active helps me unwind. Plus I’m a black belt in Judo!
How do you balance your professional life?
Since joining Spaciotempo, my work-life balance has improved significantly. I’m no longer on 24-hour call, which means I can fully relax on the weekends.
Looking Ahead
What excites you about Spaciotempo’s future projects?
I’m looking forward to working with new customers and seeing the range of unique requirements they bring. Every new project is a chance to learn and grow.
What personal goals do you have?
I’m hoping to stay with Spaciotempo long-term as I approach retirement in the next few years. It’s a fantastic company, and I’m excited to see where we go.
