Marston’s Brewery: Expanding Storage Capacity with Spaciotempo Temporary Warehouses
As Marston’s Brewery experienced significant growth, they faced a challenge of insufficient storage space to accommodate their expanding operations. The need for secure, weather-protected storage was urgent to ensure smooth operations and the protection of valuable stock. Spaciotempo was tasked with designing and delivering a temporary warehouse solution that could keep up with Marston’s increasing storage requirements and operational demands.
Requirements
Marston’s Brewery required a temporary warehouse facility to secure their stock of beer bottles and pallets, protecting them from adverse weather conditions. The building needed to allow constant access for forklifts across all warehouses. Furthermore, with a large amount of available space on-site, Marston’s wanted a temporary solution that would deliver substantial storage capacity quickly and cost-effectively.
The solution
In 2015, Spaciotempo successfully installed four temporary warehouses at Marston’s Brewery in Burton, expanding their storage capacity by 45%. The warehouses, measuring 30m x 85m with a 6m eave height, covered an impressive area of 10,200m², offering the required space for up to 14 million bottles and 15,000 pallets of beer.

During the installation, Marston’s operations continued without disruption, ensuring that the brewery's supply chain remained uninterrupted throughout the construction process.
